Canadian Auto Dealer (March 31, 2021) – F&I provider LGM Financial Services announced that they have reopened their online learning platform, known as My Distinct Learning, to support dealerships amid the COVID-19 pandemic – including automotive professionals that are not with the company.
The courses are available to them regardless of their affinity to LGM, and aim to help dealers work through some of the challenges they are facing due to social distancing measures imposed by governments to help stem the rise of COVID-19 infections.
Nathalie Abdallah, Vice President of Dealer Training at LGM, said social distancing guidelines have impacted how dealers do business. “Once the pandemic is over, it will forever change how businesses operate. Getting ahead of what that looks like is smart business and there has never been a more important time to get ahead, ”said Abdallah.
One of the courses the company is offering is called The Financial Services Office (FSO) in a Virtual World, which was created as a direct response to the pandemic and aims to help dealers and their employees optimize their F&I business. It also aims to help them build better relationships with customers.
The course, like many of the LGM on-demand learning programs, is offered through the company’s Learning Management System (LMS) that was launched in 2019.
“At LGM, we are committed to succeeding together by providing new, innovative solutions that give our customers a competitive edge and improve the consumer experience,” said Drew Collier, President and CEO of LGM. “It’s a tough time for all, so if we can help dealerships level-up their sales skills and improve customer satisfaction, then we have done our job.”
