Vancouver, BC – LGM Financial Services Inc. (LGM) proudly announces that Scott Rutherford, Executive Vice President, Technology has been recognized as a global leader in IT research and advisory by Info-Tech Research Group, and a winner of the 2024 Info-Tech CIO Awards (Canadian division).
Since its inception in 2016, the annual Info-Tech CIO Awards have celebrated exceptional IT leaders who deliver significant value to their organizations and achieve outstanding satisfaction scores from stakeholders through the firm’s CIO Business Vision program. This program evaluates organizational satisfaction with IT’s core services and provides CIOs with a strategic foundation for successful IT management.
Under Scott’s leadership, LGM’s technology team has successfully aligned its technology and IT services with the organization’s goals, maintaining high levels of satisfaction among both internal and external stakeholders. The department serves over 170 employees and almost 1,300 dealerships, demonstrating the broad reach of their services while still achieving impressive results:
- 86% Overall Satisfaction Rate (10% above the industry average)
- 89% Report Exceptional Value (relative to cost and staffing (14% above the industry average)
- 96% Service Desk Satisfaction Rate (15% above the industry average)
- 87% Client-Facing Technology Satisfaction Rate (20% above the industry average)
Scott and team attribute much of their success to a focus on research and development, whilst efficiently leveraging proven market solutions where applicable. For example, LGM’s use of cloud provider 8×8 as a contact center platform last year has made them nimbler and more responsive to customer needs. By outsourcing to a proven solution, they have been able to focus on value derived by advancing internal systems and launching projects that have increased customer satisfaction and retention for both LGM and its partners.
“This recognition reflects the strong partnership between our technology team and the business, highlighting how closely aligned our IT services are with LGM’s goals,” says Rutherford. “LGM’s commitment to technology investment has enabled us to provide consistent, high-quality service to our OEM and dealer partners. We look forward to continuing this momentum in maturing our stakeholder relationships to evolve and meet LGM’s future needs.”
The 2024 Info-Tech CIO Award winners were selected from a competitive pool of hundreds of candidates, determined by their IT satisfaction and value scores, as assessed and rated by their direct business stakeholders.
“Effective IT leadership today requires embracing the transformative potential of Exponential IT,” says Tom Zehren, Chief Executive Officer at Info-Tech Research Group. “The 2024 Info-Tech CIO Award winners have demonstrated exceptional leadership and strategic alignment, setting high standards in stakeholder satisfaction.
